MIROPLAST conducts testing of windows and doors for compliance with European standards
The latest MIROPLAST can carry out tests on the windows and entrance doors for indicators of wind penetration, water resistance and support for wind protection in a moisture laboratory. Tests are carried out on a European equipped WINDOORTESTER.
Future standards adopted in Europe
In 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine praised the decisions aimed at harmonizing the state's regulatory standards with the standards of the European Union. The field of consumer goods is regulated in Europe by EU Regulation 305/2011.
All materials supplied to our customers in the European Economic Area may comply with EU Regulation 305/2011. In accordance with this regulation, windows and doors are marked with the CE mark in order to clearly indicate that the characteristics comply with national and European standards (see the table). CE marking gives the right to free circulation of goods on the European market for free ownership.
Harmonization of Ukrainian and EU standards
The viscosity of the windows and doors is rich in what can be found in the pre-trimmed materials described in regulatory documents and standards. The EU norms impose a unified European demise of authorities and classes, as well as the necessary testing and certification of viruses. In compliance with these standards, the designer, selector of light-transparent structures and is able to obtain information for design, tendering and evaluation of windows and external doors.
The company "MIROPLAST" is one of the founders of the association UAWS (Ukrainian Association of Window Systems), one of the tasks of which is the implementation of European standards in Galusia. doors in Ukraine. Along with the association, MIROPLAST takes part in the development of new Ukrainian standards that are harmonized with European technical standards EN. Co-authorship with MIROPLAST has already developed standards:
DSTU EN 12211:201_ (EN 12211:2016, IDT) “Windows and doors. Resistance up to wind exposure. Vibration method"
DSTU EN 12207:201_ (EN 12207:2016, IDT) “Windows and doors. Penetrability. Classification".
New standards have been submitted for review by government authorities and it is expected that they will be adopted in the third quarter of 2020.
Important: once these standards are adopted in Ukraine, an authority mark* will be issued for the labeling of products, which is information similar to that provided in the CE marking.
Equipping the MIROPLAST laboratory with a testing stand
We are now preparing for the introduction of new standards in Ukraine, so we have the opportunity to conduct testing of windows for compliance with EN 14351-1 based on MIROPLAST. Testing of the design is carried out at the WINDOORTESTER stand, certified in Europe.
Stand for purposes of conducting research and testing of offensive indicators:
- The penetration rate is consistent with the testing method EN 1026;
- waterproofness is consistent with the testing method EN 1027;
- The wind pressure is based on the testing method EN 12211, including stress testing, pressure testing and safety testing.
Based on the MIROPLAST laboratory, manufacturers on the market and other manufacturers can test the design for compliance with the relevant EN standard.
